Ms. Ball has held executive and leadership roles at global financial services firms and has served in decision-making posts as a banking executive, regulator, service provider, and board member. Currently, she is the Managing Partner of two Alumni Ventures Group Funds, the Social Impact Fund and the Women’s Fund. Previously, she was the Chief Operations Officer and Executive Vice President of The Bancorp Bank. At the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Ms. Ball led the Payments Studies Group where she researched, produced and presented insights into the safety, soundness and integrity of the country’s payments systems and monetary policy drivers. She has also held executive level positions at major financial institutions, including Capital One Bank (SVP), NCO Financial Systems, Inc. (SVP-Treasury), Smart and Associates (Senior Manager), First USA (SVP, Settlement Operations), PNC Bank (VP – Technology and Processing Services) and Mellon Bank Corporation (Vice President, Strategic Planning). In each capacity she has been well regarded as a results-driven and forward-leaning professional with extensive experience in operational strategy, design and implementation, and payments. Ms. Ball has a BS Economics, Finance and Statistics from the University of Pennsylvania.
